Old Fashioned
Prepare 2 teaspoons each of lime and lemon zest. Juice and collect 4 ounces juice from each of the limes and lemons. Combine tequila, liqueur, juice, zest, water, and simple syrup in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 1 day. Strain mixture and press to extract. Keep cold until ready to serve. Serve in an old fashioned or margarita glass filled with ice and a salt rim (optional).
